So!  Had my bike setup done this morning.  Major changes.  Handlebars was dropped by 13.5 cm and the seat was dropped by 1cm.  Also had a longer stem put on.  Can't wait to ride to see if this helps.  Thanx for the ref. Holy Roler.

Had back pain and my hand was going numb.  Apparently it looked like I was sitting on a Harly. cyclingfan2009-07-09 06:02:26

Had it done in Benoni at Pro-Cycles.  Was R500.  A lot of money but if it helps for my back pain it was worth the investment.

road bike or mountain. . .  13.5 cm is a lot. . .unless you were riding like a super funrider with you handlebars higher than your saddle

handlebars were was dropped by 13.5 cm?? that's a lot.

Wrong -

HANDLEBARS = WERE (Plural)

HANDLEBAR   = WAS (singular)

If you're going to correct someone's grammar, at least do it correctly!

Isn't 13.5cm about the avg size of a male..........Embarrassedi am sure that must be 13.5mm.

Good luck with the setup. Take it easy at first and build up your mileage.
