Marius Posted April 10, 2007 Share Oij, My Download unit broke lose from the rest of the unit and I think some of the wires came lose as my Computer don't pick the unit up any more. I need to download my data so if some1 can fix it for me??? or borrow me a downloading unit till I get this one sorted out it will be MOST APPRESIATED!! Marius Posted April 10, 2007 Share I was just trying to slide the PowerTap computer unit into the downloading unit and it broke off, if I look at the inside it's only held together by a very thin piece of plastic, I'm surprized I'm the only one that's broken it so far?!?! Marius Posted April 10, 2007 Share thx, did not think so cuz I'm very carefull with putting it in and taking it out, but it is a very tight fit and maybe not the best design when force is applied. I did email Adrian and hope to hear from him real soon. I'm hoping there is some kinda warranty or something on the unit since I only been using it for less than 6months.. bruce Posted April 17, 2007 Share Yup, happened to me as well! I don't think they put enough glue between the cradle and the base - happened the first time I put the CPU into it. They have changed the design with the new USB cradle and there is clearly a glitch. Mine sheared the wires off completely so unit is now NBG - but no worries, Adrian will get it sorted!
