Right, several reasons why I think that the Ceres Valley is the best place to live.....

1.  Dis die lekker platteland, 120km van die kaap af, so darem nie in die grammadoelas nie....

2.  We have lots lots lots of riding places!  4 mountain passes and 50km of singletrack in a 40km radius....

3.  Snow:  HY LE SOMMER LEKKER DIK HIER BUITE!

Grew up in Patensie in EC- At the start of Baviaanskloof and many km's of jeeptrack in the mountains.

Study at Stellenbosch - Awesome road and mtb

Now in Gauteng - Take an hours drive through traffic and then you still have to pay to ride, although Groenkloof is a nice ride.

hm. where in gauteeng.

if you plan it carefully, you can have a bit of greenery (for free) in your daily commute

.

i didn't have that daily commute when i was in george (lived to close to work) nor in vredenburg (lived too close to work) both of them had awesome places for weekends, though.

i didn't have it when i lived in the cape (ony tar all the way to work) nor when i was in pretoria (only tar)

in joburg i finally have a bit of greenery every day that i want it.
