Don't waste your time speaking to the CSA . They cold not care less . I also think it is a great race , but will be the last time I do it . I know it is not a great loss to CSA or anybody else for that matter , but it is a matter of principal . I will not get a license untill such time as CSA gets their house in order and can prove that they are there for the cyclists . Unfortunately orginanizers like Shova gets bullied into doing what we see happening here . I on the other hand will not be bullied by the likes of the CSA and in future will read very carefully what I need to enter .

Cant agree more Dirty, I dont need to do races to cycle or prove myself, ridden Shova a few times, but not this year or the next year.

 

Maybe its not that bad as a lot of people will not be riding in races that they cant afford, this will put pressure on the organisers of races to take on the CSA as they will surely see a drop in the participation of their events.

Hmm, lots of other posts on this matter under other headings, may make interesting reading.

 

Dirt Rider, there legally has to be mention of the possible extra cost (ie) IF you happen to be unlicensed - on the "ON LINE ENTRY FORM" - not the web site.

You ARE agreeing to pay X amount for a service here, you are only agreeing to the published price, and if you are not made aware on payment that you may be required to pay and additional cost on registration- this is considered "non disclosure" and has legal consequence.

 

I only mention this because I am unlicensed, will not be entering so have not bothered to look.
