Aero bars, are you legal?

So, the 15 odd people that takes part in the TT event at SAs, are your bars legal or will you have to fork out another 3k for new bars.

What difference does it really make? Are they being petty just for the sake of being petty?

Every so often the UCI seems to get a bee in their bonnet and go after some technical rule until it is totally dead. This is the current one.

had the extentions on my mountainbike once removed on a roadie-triathlon -

i think it was when game still sponsored a series, and for some or other reason tri-bars wasn't allowed and the  extentions counted as tri-bars  in some or other rule-book.
