Not a chance!! Training for the World Funride Champs in March. Is my 10th in a row, and want to make it my best also.

Wow, didn't know that it was your 10th.

It is a big achievement.

I'll be joining some newly found Wellington roadies - Jaco Fiets and co. Only starting at 6:45 so I am gonna do a Bains climb before the ride (they are looking at doing 1hr30) but one of the guys rides in Anderson Transport's SV team

*Note to roadies*

Resurfacing is now being done on the road passing Fisantekraal International Airport.

My road machine had to chow some gravel for the 1st time this morning.

It was stunning out there this morning. Shiny roads. Lil' drizzle to cool the core. No wind.

This image is a westerly view from Adderley Rd.

Went past there on Friday on my way to Mosselbay. They are working on the whole section of Klipheuwel / R302 almost all the way to the Fisantekraal turnoff. Stuffing up my training route / loop bigtime  . Where the hell are we now going to find a safe stretch of road? Anybody knows how long they are going to be busy?

Not complaining too much, as in the end we will benefit with a resurfaced road that will (hopefully) be a better ride.

Who is doing "Bouckaert-Soenen Road"

I've never done this before - looks like a difficult one!?

I plan to be there, DD...

It's a good challenge.

And if you're preparing for the 99er, it is good too.

G, if / when you go and see Chris, please keep us updated.

Things like this diminishes my taste for cycling. Already told my wife I think this will be my last Argus, might just "wing" it this year and then just cycle sociably (very sociably)

My prayers also go out to Chris and his family - hope I can cycle with you soon again!

Guys please update here if you hear anything about his condition
