I'm myself don't know what i'm going to feel to ride in a bunch again!I'm young so adrenalin should kick and i shouldn't have a problem.... i hope!

Yeah, Meezo, part of the recovery process is also mental and emotional.

Confidence. Staying calm when someone shouts to hold your line. Doing the right things, technically, facing the risk of another crash any second.

To rebuild your gees:

It'll be good to get tap race under your belt before the end of summer season, even with an average speed of 23kmh.

Sounds like 'Dale and Tiny K is doing one this weekend, Sunday I think. Won't be able to do it on the Sunday, as it would mean that I missed church 4 weeks in a row.

Yip, Sunday is a trip around the peninsula.

Hope Tiny K and his machine is fit enough to take the journey.

Hope Dommisse is able to organize time for Sunday.

With my crash in December, it was also important to return to where I crashed and passed through safely and with good technical skill and confidence.

It is a sharp downhill bend where I slid into and, on a recent few training rides, I took it at a good speed.

Slowly rebuilding confidence in that corner.

And you?

Will you get to the Argus with your recovery?

Hope so!

Right now I'm still planning on doing it. It's slow recovery though, I can't straighten my arm yet.

Been keeping active though, started "swimming" aka kicking last week again. And I got an IDT from Tankman, just to keep the legs spinning.

Tiny K and myself plan to leave from Virgin Active Green Point at 05:30 on Sunday to ride the Argus route.

For some red zone stuff, come join us.

Average 30 kmh plus.

Sorry to change the subject but I have just come from visiting Chris, he is doing well and the doctor is coming off the drip today, his arm is still in the steel pin contraption and he says if the infection is gone then they willoperate and insert pins.

Chris looks like a totally different person, he has lost 22kg's he says.

I dropped off a bicycling mag for him to read.

Chris says he just wants to get well now.

He says he will probably get his phone back today and will try get onto the hub.

Thanks guys for all your well wishes and thoughts, Chris really needed it and he has pulled through.....

Stay strong Chris
