'Dale Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 T'was a funny old day, Saturday Two riders cancelled - Deon and MariusL - due to health reasons.I then pulled out of the 0930 slot, took care of home stuff and and went out for a 2.0 hr ride in late morning. SirK, if you waited at 0930 at Caltex, apologies as things were topsy turvy as you can read. Hmmm... today is stunning day for a looong ride.Fathers, enjoy the day!

I also call SirK by the name of Ullrich as he has these powerhouse low cadence going up the ascents. udxcob, You would've smiled on SirK's classic Bianchi! B) Geez - the Cape Doctor was in office today. Really burnt my thighs heading home.

Did feel the burn a few times and so much for an 'easy ride'.... sorry, I get into a comfort zone and it seems to be a bit faster than easy. Will see what the week holds to maybe do next Saturday again. Yeah the doctor was bad at times but shouldn't visit properly until summer (hopefully) Thanks for the ride G Man, was great to ride with a person who is of a decent caliber.. Ciao

TIME: 08h00 ROUTE: Durbanville > Malmesbury > Kalbaskraal Rd > Adderley Rd > D'urbanvale > Racecourse loop > Graanendal PACE: Avg 25 - 28 kph OVERHEAD PREDICTION: 14 - 19 degrees, little wind, no rain.
