Well, guess I was to happy yesterday as per mail below. Thought i could collect my bike today but i was phoned a 16H00 today, being told my bike won't be ready with the crank i ordered but in the interm i could collect bike and ride the weekend with a different crank. Told them to rather keep it and phone me next week when its ready with the original crank. Now I need to wait for next weekend again, hopeful to get back and go for a short ride. For those who are riding this weekend enjoy.Would have liked to join you, wannabe for the ride.

Cape cobra recovery, Hi guys & girls, hope you are all well. My recovery is slowly but surely on the way.I have gained 11 kg in total and still need more weight in my legs and butt. Dr. says it will take about 18 months to recover fully and be myself again.Only problem,i'm going for physio 2 days a week for my right arm and its painfull.Dr.indicate that i should get 95% healing of my hand and should be able to touch my shoulder, which i'm struggle to do and can only lift 3kg at the moment.HOWEVER on a happier note,im getting my bike tomorrow from cyclelab, and i can't wait to get on, even though the Dr. recommend to wait and told me to take it easy. But then again,i hope your guys won't say anything to him and let me join you when you planning a short ride.LOL

I see the D'ville guys still need to HTFU!!! Scared of a little water. And I see G-man has changed his name AGAIN WTF !!!!!???? Kris(SirK still?) is wearing my Spez shirts.....nice one! And Wannabe still can't shake a cold, what a pussy!

Greetings from sunny Kingston upon Thames my fellows!!!

Tankman, special hello to you mate! On 2nd thoughts just gone back a couple of months into this thread and I see Tank still can't get out of bed!!!

Quick update.......started riding again a month or two back (work and KungFu sorta got in the way), joined Kingston Wheelers (http://www.kingstonwheelers.com/) and riding a few CAT3 races with the Vets. Surrey League cycling is pretty good here.

And YES, I've got my cold/wet weather gear on order!

Chat soon guys...later.

Hey dude! It's been a while. Last I heard about you, you were flying up the ranks in kung-fu and shedding loads of weight. Yeah, those Spez jerseys are being worn often. They sit a little loose now but match my bike lekker so no complaints.

You should be moving into Spring/ Summer now so you don't need the wet weather gear! I am struggling to find waterproof shoe covers (and then at a decent price). Been caught being rained on twice in the past month.

re Avatars - I changed to TinyK (due to my mid week cranky-ness and previous avatar pic). G-man goes through names like the pro peloton go through water bottles!

Keep well man! I get the news via the other ladies in the office that get emailed often, filling in what your better half is up to.

Thanks for the Sunday ride  Guess I won't be joining this one. <_<

Wish you could join, Tiny K.

My weekend schedule only allows for a Saturday training ride after all.
