Thanks guys I enjoyed the ride too, even though there was a pace problem we ended up doing 26.6km average which was pushing it for some..........hehe

Yeah, and even that would not have been possible if MariusL and myself did not take turns dragging/pulling one of the riders back to the group every time there was a slight rise in elevation. :D

Ah well, makes you stronger.

What time do you cycle in the week? I can only do about an hour to hour and a half on Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons. Difficult to predict at what time I go out, depends at what time I get away from work.

O yeah, I stay just up the road from Majik Forest.

Hey Rider3000, Glad to see that there are guys living out this side of the world. I live in Wellington.

What fitness level are you at? My father-in-law and I both ride (and I am a hell of a lot fitter than he is - he averages about 20Km/H - not too sure though) - I average around 28Km/H) - so it depends on what level you are at to who you join.

Most Saturdays I join the guys out Durbanville way and ride +100Km. My Father-in-law rides around the Paarl / Wellington area.

Let me know and I am sure we could make a plan. Weekday evenings are difficult for be because I only get home around 6 but father-in-law is kinda flexible.

Keep Well, Kris

Hey Wannabe, MaruisL is out because of fortnightly commitments. I am out Saturday because of my wife's birthday.

GMan and I are looking at doing a Sunday ride - not too sure where and when.... Confirm with him - he generally sets the routes, I just go along for the ride :D

Keep well and maybe see each other Sunday.... Ciao

Yah, I'm also working on Saturday, like 'player23'.

So, let's see whether we can build a peloton on Sunday morning - weather permitting.
