@MickyMouse - congrats on the new bike....Where did you have the bike fit done? im looking to go that route also.

I went to Lizé at Chris Willemse Cycles. You can phone them and make an appointment with her. It takes about 45 minutes, and I paid R350. It was the best thing I ever did. No more burning feet, lower back pain, wrist pain, and awfull chafing! She uses the Ergofit formula, and is very professional. You have to take along your bike, cyclingshorts, socks, and shoes. Definately a must!!!!

It's well worth the decision, Many Lemons.

You'll become more efficient (read here FAST) on the bike.

It was just beautiful out there this morning.

Passed BMC Fan rolling on my way home.

Yup, absolutely stunning this morning! Lots of cyclists out there today!

On a side note, you should see my dale with it's new wheels! Let me find a pic quickly!

These are loaner wheels to see if I like them or not... And then I'll get my own set!

They're scary fast and still taking some getting used to being thrown around a bit when it's windy! If anyone has tips on how to overcome that, please let me know!

EDIT: Then the next upgrade is a saddle and nicer looking bottle cages! thumbup1.gif

To control those wheels, keep you hands on the brake hoods with a lil' extra weight

Be extra careful:

With side gusts.

With passing cars and trucks.

The feeling of slight swerving is unavoidable.

You'll get used to it.

I'll try that! I've been leaning more back onto the rear wheel though, which now that I think of it, is wrong. Thanks for the headsup!

I'm taking the wheels for a couple more spins this week to see if I feel comfortable enough for Die Burger, if not, then I'll just use my other wheels.

Sounds like the owner of a pair of those wheels. You know when you lend someone something, you give stricy instructions over and over on the use, the tips and tricks. You not gonna need Red Bull with those wheels to give you wings.

Yeah, the front wheel is the one which need more control, D Lizzy.

They're a great upgrade if you choose them, never mind the shaxxy factor.
