To Sun Valley & Back for a 65er with 950 metres total ascent @ 23-25 km/h avg.

Wheels roll at 0530.

Anyone going for a ride around the Durbanville area on Saturday morning? Going to Malmesbury for a wedding from jhb, and have the whole Saturday morning to kill. Taking my road bike along, as I am training for half Ironman in January. Looked on Google maps, and it seems the R304 and then Malmesbury Road to Durbanville seems like it can be cycled?

 

Can meet anyone going for a group ride in Durbanville on Saturday morning, planning on around a 4 hour ride at around 25km/h?

If you are interested in driving to Durbanville, you can join me for a ride. Planning on cycling from Durbanville to Polkadraai road, Stellies, Wellington and back to Durbanville. Not exactly sure of distance, but it should be around a 4 hr ride. (will map my ride it, and post the distance)
