Anybody interested in riding out to VA Greenpoint for the "Teddy Bear Run" on Monday. Was thinking in order to get a decent ride in, we could ride there, and the rest of the guys can ride back after the handover.

I'm gonna carry on to Noordhoek where my wife will meet me for a brekkie.

Meeting at 5:30 am would work for me. I can do about 90 mins to arrive back at 7 am and make it to work tongue.png . Dunno about the CWC group. From what I hear they are pretty fast......

The only way to get faster is to ride with faster people!

We can go on Wednesday and do my loop if you're keen. Pace won't be anything too hectic.

And then potentially I would like to join the CWC group on Thursday, and hopefully I'll be able to hang on to the back of the group!

Wednesday will be great. One suggestion; lets do your route the other way round. I rode it the other day and the wind along Plattekloof was a pain.

Will be a good sight more difficult the other way round when the wind is blowing. Start riding into the wind from about Durbanville Hills Wine Farm, the whole stretch with the drag and up Tiekiedraai, not easy at all.

Had a very nice ride. Did 90km at an 27km/h avg. Wind never was a factor, although it got hot towards the end. Finished after 10AM, and temp already was 33deg C.

How did the Southern Suburb, North vs South showdown go down?

The North was well represented by myself, Leg Breaker, Nathan Rhoda, Grob Lord, roadrunnerza and Colliehond.

My stats roughly 80 km at 3:10 hrs with 1300m ascent.

Great ride.

Awesome company of 12 riders.

Super support by Az, Think Bike Marshall.
