Is that you, D D?

Phew! Sounds hectic, man. :o I wonder how long you bunch were out there?

I was really looking forward to that route. My car was in 'towbar mode', kit all packed to go to join you dudes & dudettes.

Hope to see you soon in the training bunch.

Recover well. :)

its me - route is about 120km - took us longer than should - was really bugger by wind and had to help some of slower riders by protecting them from wind

If you think Bainskloof is *** - Du Toits is much worse

Yeah, player23, and when it is stormy like today, the descents are 50 x tougher because of the slippery surface, visibility and the windchill at high speed.

As you well know...

Brrrrrrr!

Luckily "Red Rocket" is stil in standby mode, everything else in the ready. See you at 7h30 at Graanendal.

May I try and contest for KOM at Helshoogte, or is it just SirK and MariusL? I will not make use of dubious tactics...

K O M hot spot was for MariusL and SirK to 'settle the score' after all their mid-week bantering.

But MariusL has other priorities tomorrow.

AND

I know SirK loves to get to the top of the climb first. Hmmm... B) He will be joining us.

Wannabe, the choice is yours.

I'll play underdog. Like Menchov in 'silent killer' mode. :P

We climbed nearly 1, 000 meters over 105 kms according to my dial! B) Cool, ice cool!

Well done, SirK and Wannabe.

Great ride with you two through some of the most beautiful roadie routes.

G Man and SirK, it was a pleasure to ride with you guys today. Did 111km with 1080m of climbing, as per my Polar.

Legs are a bit toast, but it was a beautifull day with perfect weather. See you guys again next weekend. Enjoy the week's training.

Thanks G Man and Wannabe - was a great ride. My legs were broken after the intense hill climbing.

Really glad we waited for today to go out.... must have been stacks better than yesterday.

Hope you guys have a great week and see each other next weekend for another lekker ride :D

p.s. Wannabe - guess you are saving the attacks for next time

Somehow I'm glad I rather decided to go to gym than spend 120km in the rain with a wet chamois and wet white shoes

My ride yesterday from Noordhoek was a tad boring without you boys... strange how one gets used to good company on a 4hour + ride...

But I enjoyed the views along Black Hill / Red Hill / Kommetjie / Chappies / Suikerbossie and finally Tikkiedraai home... was relatively knackered when I got home (that's a lot of climbing - but at least i claimed all the KOM points :P ).

Looking forward to our next ride guys.

Hey M, we actually mentioned that we missed your company too.

Wannabe's legs weren't up for the challenge yesterday so the points were claimed between G Man and myself ( G Man getting the Helshoogte ones)

p.s. You can't claim KOM points on a 1 man ride :P
