Or, if you can swing it, a two hour ride from Nitida tomorrow morning at 8:00.

Route to be decided on the day, but prolly out along Wellington, right at the silos and back via Fisantekraal.

And then brekkie at Tables at Nitida.

Geez, who knew it would be so cool being an unemployed homeless person!

Donkey.

Stumbling.

Acshly it's a bike that used to be mine, and then went to my brother in law, and now my sister in law.

It's a Trek 470, with Shim RSX 7 speed. I bought it new in 1998. I think I was the last guy on the planet to buy a 7 speed bike. Cost around R3K from Olympic Cycles.

Heavy li'l fcuker, with SPD pedals to match my hairy legs.

But hey, it's a bike, and I'll have fun!

Great standby machine to keep the stress levels low as you transition....

Will look out for it. :)

Well the unemployed bit is cool for you because you have other plans once you get to OZ.

For me on the other hand, it's not cool coz I got no plans and I am not going anywhere  Now to find a new job..... today is my last day. I do have some stuff to get sorted before I get a new job though - just to keep me busy.

You having one of these days BikeMonster?

Geez, I wish!

In to town to go and talk to the bank...an exercise in stress and frustration.

Then fetched my kid from his school, and back to Val de Vie, where I am staying with bro' and sis' in law. Lovely here, but hotter than Hades!

This morning on the bike I felt flatter than a pancake.

Dd some away from the bike training yesterday here in LA...

Climbed a 1000 steps on the balls of my feet simulating hill climbing on the bike.

Today, my calves are sorr and my right knee feels eina.
