Glenzito Posted September 21, 2015 Share Hi Guys ...... We are looking at a retro ride at the Herald Cycle Tour in Feb again .....please this is a chance to have the input from a National perspective for the Retro guys to get together. We are going to organise the bikes to go on show again which created much interest during the registration for the competitors. The hall has full security because this is where the exhibitors showed and sold their wares.Hi, can you please keep my updated on bikesandbicycles888@gmail.com thanks, Glen
Loose cog Posted September 21, 2015 Share Ask your LBS to scratch around their small parts bin. If they don't have any try a specialist nut and bolt place. They often have the exact part at a fraction of the original LBS cost. The bolt may not be chromed but of a higher quality and lighter weigh. Bianchi boet Posted September 21, 2015 Share Hallo I have an 1987 onwards Bianchi Mondiale with Columbus SL tubing. It is a size 59 frame in Bianchi Celeste. As far as I know, it was shod with Shimano 600 tricolour groupset, of which the Biopace crankset is still on the bike. It now is fitted with Ultegra hubs, brake calipers, frt and rear derailleur with 9 speed.casette. I took off the badly worn Ultegra STIs and replaced them with period 105 brake levers. The shifter lever that I could find was period Suntour units of an old Peugeot bike. I have Gipiemme Techno rims laced to the Ultegra hubs. Seat by Selle Italia - and Cinelli handlebars. javadude Posted September 21, 2015 Share Hi Olffie, I'll be placing order at the end of this week. Perhaps a bit later as family will be there the week beginning the 19th of OCT. Dumb question maybe, but isn't it really cheap to have Cyclomondo post the decals to SA? He pops them in a normal letter sized envelope.
Badsam Posted September 22, 2015 Share Dumb question maybe, but isn't it really cheap to have Cyclomondo post the decals to SA? He pops them in a normal letter sized envelope. You're right, it is cheap. The big deal, is that I actually want to receive the decals I paid for. I have very little faith in the local PO when it comes to receiving goods internationally. And even though Greg is kind enough to post another set or refund you if you don't receive it, I'd imagine that you'd still be left needing those damn decals (if you choose for him to refund you)! Ask Kamaalo, he's still waiting for decals he bought ages ago Oh yes, I'm also impatient and a little OCD, so it helps me sleep Loose cog and Kenty

Thanks Rolf If you don't have any luck, I bought from these guys before http://clemenzo.com/index.php?route=product/search&search=lockring see the last 2 lockrings listed. If you do decide to order from them, let me know, I'm interested in buying a couple more and we may even find a few others who want and combine postage.
