My early 90' Pinarello Gavia is running on a set of beat up(read completely klapped) Mavic hoops with period 105 hubs(still lekker). I have a few randellas that I've been putting aside to replace them with something worthy. Is it a terrible disgrace to replace them with 2001/2/3 Mavic Cosmic elites? I like the idea of putting some saxxy fresh shoes on my old girl but the period items kind of make the bike special(to me anyway) I've searched for something to fill the gap in the classifieds but there's nada on here except a set of Rigida'.
