I had one of the chocolate and something ones the other day and it did not make it past my mouth. It tasted terrible and does not look much better either.

Hi Chickenrun' date='

Yep we ship them in from the UK, we could fly them in for about the same cost but as we are aware of all thins environmental we ship them in sacrificing at least 5 weeks shelflife. I should point out that we have looked at making them in SA but cannot get guaranteed supply of ingredients or get the quality standards that are required.

As you seem to be aware of thins green I should point out that we are changing to a compostable and biodegradable wrapper for all our products![/quote']

I can have them made in China for you at a 10th of the priceLOLLOLLOL

Just joking, It would be defeating the object.

Mr mulebar you guys are doing great work sponsoring so many events, the last 6 events I did half or more of them was supported by the brand all over. the Xterra Grabow

Xterra knysna?? cant remember? the Featherbed trailrun?

nine to five

you did the stelenbosh challenge and also the Palmiet race I did last weekend.

I had mixed feelings about the bars at my first encounter (xterra grabow)

I happened to get the Liquorish seeds one and with no water to get it down and running  "in the red" to try and keep my 4th place I couldnt keep it down and I ended up spitting it out after trying to chew for a few minutes and ended up chucking the whole thing..So I was off it byt I tried the one from the stellies race..WOW they are AWSOME.. Im a believer.

thanx for the support, from a riderWink

That will be much appreciated and I will support you just for this. I was p@issed off with the wops that discarded their mule bar wrappers after the watering point at Palmiet.

Its no reflection on Mule as there where some GUs and other wrappers littered all over the place. Its a frigging nature reserve and not the a taxi rank.

Tell me about it! We are monitoring the littering issue and are considering opening the bars and cutting them in half to prevent the litter and wastage that we see on trails.

However, alot of riders don't do it so we carry on! At least we can sleep a little easier soon knowing that the litterbugs out there won't impact nature too much when they throw Mule wrappers on the trail!

Nice idea. Its not your fault that people litter but its is unfortunate that they use your product to it.

Agree on the wastage issue as the bars cost you money and if you can give out only have as many per race that means you can sponsor another one that you would not have done.

Mr Mulebar' date=' what is the shelf life of an opened bar?[/quote']

HMM.... not really checked,my samples keep for a week sealed in an airtight container, after that I use them as they start drying out a bit.
