This piece on chains has some history. I compiled it over many years, building it up as I got to understand chain and sprocket technology and learnt new stuff. It still is a living document on my PC.

 

I once posted it here and that poepol with the bouncing bunny avatar accused me of doing a Google and cut-and-paste etc etc etc.

 

I took exception to him accusing me of plagiarism when I took the trouble of posting my precious document on a public forum. At the time I probably wanted to reinforce the originality of it. Fortunately I don't see bunny man's mug here anymore.

 

I would post the New Testament here too, but couldn't come to terms with who's byline to put on it, there being contradictory reports of who wrote it and all.
