Endurance Front Light

OK - so I am looking for a light. I need a good, value for money light, that is going to last in a 24hr ride.

 

I know that there are lots out there - so the criteria is value for money, endurance ( it has to last the night) and decent lighting.

 

What are you favourites?

USE's Exposure lights. All in ons package with enough light to light up the most technical trails at night. Battery lasts much longer than most other brands and a full charge takes only 3hours. Iuse the Exposure MaxX on my handlebar and the Joystick on my helmet when I'm out night riding.

I have an Exposure - works like a charm (in fact I have two - the Exposure Enduro, and the smaller Exposure Joystick).

 

I see Chain Reaction has quite a good special on the Enduro - just over R2k.

A light that has grabbed my attention is the Hope 2 LED Epic. Sounds pretty good and at a good price.

I don't think you could build a cheaper light. That P7 LED is also supposed to be pretty awesome.

 

The only downside being that I don't think you will make it through the night with that light - unless you bought 2

Big thread over at MTBR on it. Not the greatest but for value for money, you can't go wrong. A Hubber who shall remain nameless is waiting for delivery of two he ordered a couple of weeks ago.

I think I own the best value for money light, BLT firewire 4 from....chainreaction, 800 bucks for a 4 watt LED which lasts 20 hours at max output, and its light too, i use it on and off road and up to 40km / hour it gives more than enough light. I pair it up with a Princeton tech eos rebel 4mode Led light, total cost R1300 . The Hope is over priced and it cuts out often when knocked.  OK thats my 2 cents.
