What do you eat before a ride?

The night before nothing different then usual, just maybe a bit more. The morning before, cereal and coffee.

Not strict about it, but ususally pasta the night before and bowl of oats and 2 slices of whole wheat toast with jam for breakfast.

Whatever's going the night before, but i try and make sure it's got lots of carbs.

 

I normally have raw oats and milk 2 to 3 hours before the race, and then 2 peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwiches about 30 minutes before the start.

night before i dont care

mornig of the race i forcefeed myself some oats - theres only one thing worse than trying to eat breakfast that early, and that's getting up even earlier .... coffee seems to help

pre - race breakfast:   Toast with peanut butter and golden syrup; Yogurt; Fruit juice; banana; Oats porridge; boiled egg
