Dear Hubbers

I cycle to the race for a bit of endurance training

I do the races and fun rides for the enjoyment.

I do not know if its stupid or crazy???

I just have too much energy.

What is your comments.

Was reading about pre-event training and doing a pre-ride to warm up the muscles appears to be the best thing you can do.

But then again David, we park our cars 1km from the event to do the warm up ride and not cycle to other side of the province like you LOL

I enjoy racing to races but the fines are getting to me. Going to trade my 16 valve double overhead cam turbo charged intercooled Subaru WRX ( Wanna Race Xkse) in on a corsa lite.Wink

UR not alone, I like doing 20 to 30km before the race, it allows me to be able to go hard from the gun, I use to suffer in the first 40 or so km till I started doing this warmup ride now tthings seem to work slightly better

I'm not a roadie but what helped me at Stellies MTB Challenge was the 2km warm up I did to the venue. Got my wife to drop me off outside the town.

When I did gravity it was just drop me off at the back of the group LOL and I kaked off the first few km's.
