Hey Brawler' date='

I am selling a GT ruckus UF steel that I brought in from the UK.  Its in great nic.  Only reason I am selling is because I already have a DJ rig here and could not get it over my heart to leave my bike in London.

Its a great setup and a really great little bike.

PM me if you are interested, I'll send some pics etc over.

I have seen this bike and it is  SWEET

Ive Dirtjumped for a good 8 years of my life before finally selling my STP which was at that stage so tricked out with Titanium spindles and Trick bits everywere, I only have picks before it got really hot, but anyway.. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I want to recomend that unless you are a smooth not to heavy rider which since you are a beginner you probably definately wont be, you might want to get a steelframe. My STP lasted but I was 65kg and considered myself quite a smooth DJ operator. But still I had the dropouts chewed a bit (although I had a Bolt on hub). Also If youre going to come up short a couple of times I recomend steel. Its all the rave right now and unless youre really worried about weight, you shouldnt worry about Ti and ali on a DJ bike..

Since I saw the new Jumps at UCT im so bleak about selling my bike.. I want a new one...<?: prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" />

Enjoy and start small, Iv seen to manny kids try a double for the first jump and case it ending in a faceplant 2 meters below sea level and doctors bills to prove.

I broke my back in 2000 I got back on, wiser..  never get "windgat" even the most "crazy" guys out there still know their limits, well most of them.

Thanks.

Im not really that noob - as I said I used to BMX a lot a few years ago(I used to compete) - would have easily been able to flow the new UCT jumps.

Will take it slow on the mtb, probably won't be so smooth for the first few weeks but will get there :)

Brawler, don't worry Bos is smooth like a cheese grater and he broke his back trying to tackle a black bin after a super14 match...

He does make it fun to hang out though

Sorry mate.. Didnt meen to squash your ego there.. sorry If I did.Embarrassed

Then most of what I said would be obsolete! and you already know whats best for you.

Crow. Hydro  vs Cable..

I rode a cable (Oddysey Liniar ) cause Its very hardy and doesnt kink.. it should be long enough to do some Xups and  later barspins but most importantly, you bail the bike from time to time and you done wat to worry about the  cables or Hidro leaver popping out all the time.

Happy trailing

haha, sorry I forgot that price is still on there, that's what the bikeshop is asking for it on the floor.  I have changed it now and I am negotiable.

The stp on the other hand is not a bad bike!  I prefer steel on jump bikes for the look and feel, but that's just me.  Hope you come right!

Brawler, Ideally make me an offer. I'd say R5500... I'm sure someone would take the suntour off you.  I have ridden the fork like I ride my Argyle and comparitively I don't have a bad word to say about it.  Suntour had stepped it up from their older offerings.

Brawler, I jump UCT quite often, I ride a very bastardised STP, seems to be quite a popular bike up at the track as well. You only really need a back brake on a DJ anyway.
