Two reasons, I think. First, I was speechless with surprise. Second, I'd sideswiped a taxi with my wife's car a couple of months previously (my fault) and I'd used up my entire annual quota of "taxi restraint".

 

Sometimes you just have to move on.

Yes sometimes it is better to just move on.......My only wish is that cyclist will stand together rather and rant at each other....but then again that is a dream...

 

 

 

If one taxi gets hooted at in traffic 5 will stop, defend his action with anything from words to a wheel spanner (I'v seen this)...If one cyclist get knocked by a car....50 other cyclist will tell him what he did wrong and how it is his fault...

It is hard to deny that laws should be followed, morally or logically. They should. Most of them make sense.

What stands out here is: just keep your own arse clean

Some of us are not rebelling against the fact that laws should be kept (they should) but rather against the incessant and self righteous whining of self appointed sheriffs of that law.

It doesn't accomplish much and does get people's backs up.

Just look at some of the illogical responses to logical suggestions.
