Can we get this post moved from " Rant n Rave " to " Chit Chat " and change the topic to " Team Garwood " .

I would love to see this post continue to grow and Team Garwood keep us hubbers who dont have facebook access up to speed with all the new events they want to take part in .

This in my opinion is the best post on the hub!

I was led to this forum by colleagues of my wife at her work. I am totally humbled at the remarks and the response that has been displayed here. Just reading the remarks brings tears to my eye and a lump in my throat.

Yes' date=' I am the Dad!

The support and encouragement received while riding from riders and the crowd was fantastic. Yes we do train around the cradle and will be back there this weekend.

I was so inspired by the video clip of Team Hoyt, which was sent to me at the end of April, that my son and I took up the challenge. See the latest SA Triathlete magazine. With my sisters insistance I set up a group on Facebook, Team Garwood.

Thanks all for your kindness.

TriandDu, congratulations for sticking with your son in the face of 'professional' advice.

That little laughing face in the article in Triathlete SA speaks a myriad of happy words!

Keep it up, and show Nicholas the good and fun side of life!

Good luck with the 70.3 and may the sea be calm that day!

This picture below from the digital preview version of the magazine (www.triathletesa.co.za), Hopefully Marius and team will not mind.

Note: For those who cannot get hold of the print magazine, you can buy & read it online as well

Hi Guys

Have not seen that the post has moved to chit chat. Thanks again for your support.

We went out on Saturday afternoon to train but did not see many people out there. decided to go out in the afternoon since it was still raining in the morning.

This weekend we will be taking part in the

Soul City Sports Club World Aids Day Race 21.1km

This run will be at the University of Johannesburg on the 29th.
