techguy Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Tyres only puncture when you ride over stuff that you're not supposed to... besides when a tyre goes flat its only flat at the bottom...

The only hassles I've had was when I went all poncy and bought fancy smanshy Joes tubes that's filled with milk rather then sealant. I patched it, put in proper sealant and now it is perfect. Before that, 2 years without knowing about any punctures. The age old statement "why fix when not broken".

Mudsimus Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 The age old argument...tubes vs tubeless. Whatever floats your boat. Personally I will never use tubes again. I havent bought one in years and dont even carry a spare when I ride. To be honest I cant remember when last I punctured.

I use the same tyres, a conversion that cost me R10 and the same sealant I used in tubes. So I save the money I would have spent on tubes.

Perhaps we have more than enough money to do whatever we want to do but our spending pattern does not elevate to your lofty levels. I bow to you and your spending.
