ps, kransworm, the same general idea I think, applies to D/C's.... Slower is better... horses for courses... I can't take my R26 on the dirt to much, you can't take your suv or D/C at 200 (120? 160?) on the road...

Wether or not it was the vehicles fault there's now a girl without a father and a wife without a husband... lets not forget that!

Please provide evidence to support this 'fact'

Here are some links:

Want more...?

Note that Toyota have admitted the problem in that they have suggested

"solutions" to the problem as well as touting it as a big advantage for the

"new" Fortuner...

I find this debate a bit distasteful. It is about the death of a fellow cyclist.

Start another thread if you want to have a slagging match about car brands.

Tnt, I see where you're going, but the families and friends of cyclists lost in accidents and other incidents are often directed to threads like these. I guess it gives them solace to read well-wishes, even if it from people who don't know the people involved. What would they make of this?

I get it hr, I do, but what are you gonna do? You need to either get a mod in here, and make wholesale deletes, turn us into a nanny state, or have this?

I fully agree Mr TNT.

Horses for courses as they say.

Apparently I have a top speed of 170.Well we won't be trying that. And before anybody climbs down my throat for being disrespectful....if this "open discussion" can save lives in future it will have served some purpose!

Yip' date=' this was discussed at length here after that cycle lab (i think) mechanic crashed on the way back from sani 2 c or some race...

Kransworm, the D/cab does not share the same chassis/suspension as the fortuner...

Sad news either way. Hope the daughter recovers.

Oh, gee, holy wonder, look at that. Read the damn thread. All I did was respond to someone else regarding the fortuner and show some "humanity". Nevermind. You clearly are the man.
