peleton Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 the plane actually crashed after the swim started and the organisers had to tell guys coming out the water to head straight to the run.However the cyclist killed (confirmed that he died in the ambulance) delayed the start. If not the triathletes would have been on the bike when the plane crashed and it could have been more than just one. A sad day for the cyclist but he may have saved 20 odd triathletes..

Looks like the eishherculena town council are spending some money fixing up that bit of pavement, never used to be any palm trees or flags there b4 Here is a pick of the plane....
