... and the christening the next day.

I have not been on the bike since end of October but that did not stop me from buying here a few xmas presents. First it was the Thomson stem (thanks Rad006), then the white Planet-X saddle (thanks Kiwi) and then the Alligator rotors, 160 front and 140 rear (try find that in a shop)(thanks 20niner).

Nothing beats a bike thats dirty after a ride, I also find cleaning my dirty bike after a hard ride is like therapy.

Last upgrades??? You know that's not going to happen!

?

Agree. that was kinda funny.

there is nothing more it needs. Maybe wheels but I do not have R3000+ to spend on wheels. And you do not get orange parts locally. Would have liked Maxxis orange hoses and cable outers but no luck finding that.

Mampara, did you get your frame from CRC?  If so, how much was it all-in-all to you door?

Nice looking bike by the way Thumbs%20Up

yes I did. Because it was a big order with free shipping it only worked out about R1600 after taxes this side. And it is super sexy with no gussets, just hydroformed tubing.

Just a question' date=' did you loose any braking/ stopping power by fitting the Alligator rotors?[/quote']

is did squeel for about 5 minutes but then the pads meshed with it and it is as if I never changed them at all.

I did manage to lose over 80gr from the previous one and 51gr was just on the rear.

always liked the look of the frames (especially the price) when I first saw them on CRC........I'm surprised they still have stock, they must have bought a million of them to sell at those prices......did you weight it by any chance?

I also like those frames. I wanted to get one in December but then spend my money on other gadets. I hope their stock lasts a while..
