I don't really get Sponsors pulling the plug so quickly. Sure, fire the drug user. But, honestly, I will not disregard a Neotel telephone line purely because one of the riders in their team doped...

Consumers don't care about the doping. It's all brand recognition.

Maybe I'm missing the point...

There are always options...

We have some of the best Sports Physicians, Physio's, Bio's and Exercise Scientists in the world, yet riders still choose to dope, rather than follow the the legal ulternative.

I got to agree with you... taking drugs does not mean you are a kitten murdering wife beating child molester.

Taking dope to cheat doesnt mean nolan isnt a friendly outgoing fun to be with guy.

It just means he exercised poor judgement and failed to think about the repurcussions of his actions

Perhaps the key lies not in asking who's to blame' date=' but in educating both riders, technical staff and sponsors...[/quote']

Sorry,  but without being too flippant; how stupid are these guys if they don't know they can't take testosterone legally?  Just ban him and move on.

yup!!

Look at guys like David Garret. Clean as a whistle, but will kick any butt on a bike.

AND he works a full time job.

But he is dedicated. Trains like a demon. Eats properly. and lives the correct lifestyle.

Sure, if you're racing the TDF you need drugs, but to win the 94.7? I dont think so...

Well their is 1 TDF team leader who been in CT for 6 week now in the Grasskop region doing high ultitude training - but then he is drug free - so maybe if the other sports from abroad are in CT for dope certain team leader in the TDF are here for training in decent weather, ultitude and long climbs!
