My Cape Town ride this morning

This mornings weather was so perfect I was tempted to extend my commute with another hour. Hope to do a long commute home as the weather is holding out perfectly.

I was in Majik this morning and saw the mist coming over the hills just before 06h00.One could only see the top of the radiomast on the hill and nothing else as the mist was covering it.It is for moments like this that makes mtb was it is.I think this is the trail at hillcrest?awesome ride was there on sunday.

I would have thought that Majic is more 'technical' than Hillcrest, strange how perceptions vary

 

 

 

Anyway, there are always plenty of cyclists and runners at Majic after about 5:30am so you should be pretty safe up there.

yes i think it is safe.this morning cops stopped us as we exited the forrest though looking for two "people".the most unsafe part is that there are plenty of trail runners with their dogs going up the singletrack and if you come down you tend to spot them a bit late,but good manners prevail insanity.

hi chrish,, maybe i should say hillcrest is alot harder on the heartrate than majik,hiehie!! the best track to go ride over weekends is oak valley grabouw,,, that is a lot of fun!!! wanna get lights and start doing the nightride thing,,,, my father told me that majik is a different place at night,,
