Too late to ask for it back? smiley18.gif That is one mean looking bike.

haha! Crow, I remember I was looking into selling my little toes on the black market so I could buy that frame off you!

I ended up getting myself an Izimu instead... nowhere near as hot as this bike, but I managed to keep my little toes!

Whats the weight of your GT Willem' date=' looks awesome.[/quote']

Weight is 9.7kg as shown in the pictures, with cages and PowerTap wheel.

(The PowerTap does have a bit of a weight penalty to it)

Awesome Willem !

How are those wheels, im getting the standard build in a week or so, can't wait !

But I was lead to believe that they could not be built onto any hub(the rim) who built these ? I have the previous 240s and thought they wouldnt work, or are the new ones different ?

Wouldn mind a powertap on my 355's to go with the garmin im getting ;)

600g ? wow, damn the ust is only like 50-100g heavier.  And there I thought protection was a good midway to go to.

I'm very happy with the wheels!

As far as I know the Podium MMX rims can be built onto any hub...

Johan Bornman built the wheels for me (highly reccommend him to build any wheel). Front I have DT Swiss tripple butted spokes and rear DT Swiss double butted spokes (CycleOps/PowerTap doesn't reccommed building PowerTap wheel with tripple butted spokes)

As far as the Easton stuff goes, the MonkeyLite SL riser bar is a must have! Makes a huge difference on handling!

WW just out of interest what is the price jump from your HT to a dual spez? Did price have anything to do with you going HT? Hot bike by the way!

Probably around R15,000 depending on which frameset you would use on the Dual.

2010 Stumpjumper HT frameset - R20,799

2010 S-Works Epic frameset - R35,100

Yes, price did play a little bit of a roll, but honestly not very much.

I'm still a HT fan through & through.

Thanks for the compliment, It's not only stunning to look at, its also an AWESOME ride.
