SwissVan Posted April 13, 2010 Share Laugh you short leggerd Baasteds... Thats size LARGE frame and the seat post as shown in the picture is not at its correct extension, its about 5 - 6 cm to low!! Those are Chris King allu spacers so i figured 2 big ones and a small one would make a nice family of spacers, hopefully they breed and i can start selling them. SwissVan Posted April 13, 2010 Share Vanniri - I decided the climbs we have here would best be enjoyed with 3 x 9 options.

Weight Weenie Posted April 13, 2010 Share Yep sorry Im too excited, totally forgot about that. On a side note, my No Tubes Podium MMX wheelset left the us on the 9th, so im getting excited to see some more weight loss on my bike, looking at around 300g give or take. Should take her down to 9,2kg which is going to cost me more and more money as im now really tempted to do stupid stuff to get it sub

Weight Weenie Posted April 14, 2010 Share Nah still allot I could do - foam grips, lighter tyres, 140 rear rotor, 2x9 setup, eggbeater 4 ti's, remove the bar ends etc.
stewie911 Posted April 15, 2010 Share My newly built Schwinn Moab SC2 (Black label) Red KCNC spacers is the only bling at the moment. Red skewers on their way. Very proud of the extralite handlebar and stem from ridr. Upgrades in the next month or so: Red QR skewers. Truvativ noir 3.3 cranks with 2x9 setup 50g/pair handlebar ends on their way (Not sure if I'll use them) Unbranded carbon bottle cages 140mm rear rotor And maybe new wheels towards the end of the year. WorcesterWheelers Posted April 15, 2010 Share Nice ride Stewie. My SC1 bike that I build up last year was an awesome ride and I'm sure Wallee is loving it still. Enjoy.
Overlord Posted April 15, 2010 Share What is the reliability of all these weight weenie parts on a mountainbike if you do stage racing or even just every weekend? Would it not be wiser to go for something that will last a little bit longer than something that MIGHT break or malfunction on a regular basis? stewie911 Posted April 16, 2010 Share I think its durable enough for hard riding, but if you fall and hit it on a rock then you are screwed. I wouldn't ride the epic with extralite. It also has a 90kg weight limit.
