First one was okay, second one was a nightmare - bailed after about 7 minutes.Seems like there are only two places to ride a road bike in Knysna - the N2 East or the N2 West but I'll be checking out one of the climbs in the area tomorrow morning. But yesterday i rode for 1hr in CT, and with the wind and rain it was way colder on the bike yesterday. I could not use my fingers properly by the time I got home. And EVERYTHING was soaked. So today was much warmer...

I think I'm going to have to do another L4 this evening - not easy on the rollers @ 300w.

Taking my eldest son Mountain Biking this afternoon at Harkerville - should be interesting!

Just for the record - it was 7 minutes into the second interval, so I had finished one 20 minute interval already - but still, I'll be on the rollers again tonight.
CaptainDura Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Yes Joobs it might have been warmer this morning in CT compared to yesterday, but when i left my house it was still freezing (for Cape town that is - it never goes below 0 here thank goodness) At one stage I thought I might loose my nose to frostbyte.. Thats about all that was cold. If you dress correctly and you stay dry (ie it doesnt rain) then anything from 0 to 10 degrees is a pleasure to ride in. P.S. at least the wind did not blow this morning. That is always a plus even if it is cold outside....
