At the moment I am working on merging powertap data and the garmin data which would give you the power you were producing at any point along the course!

Bruce' date=' if you manage to merge it, PLEASE let me know!!  Will you be able then to view it as 1 ride in CyclingPeaks?  I'm addicted to my PowerTap and Garmin.

That is the goal!  Apparently they are planning this feature in a future version of CP.  We can ask Hunter when he is out here.

Yes' date=' I have the full package HR and cadence. Works like a charm. Another pluspoint is that you can change the HR monitor battery yourself. It uses a standard 2032 battery available at Game for ?R10.00. since I got it I did the Argus, 94.7, OFM, Cansa Lost City, Campus to Campus and numerous local races with it. No problems with it so far.[/quote']

I've got the 305 forerunner but my cadence sensor batteru life seems very short. 2-3 rides and then i need to replace my battery and rescan for cadence sensor...

Its exactly the same as the edge, but isntead of a monoblock casing, its a wristwatch. So yeah, you can use it for running, canooing, south east albanian rabbit hunting, etc.

How boring. You build a huge wooden rabbit (ala monty python and the quest for the holy grail) and then when they try mate with it you spring the trap...

PS - I'm on corenza, efedrene, coediene, brandy, med lemon and caffeine

I had a bit of a sore throat before we went to knysna but i medicated it away. Had lots of oysters. Oyster bar had them R6/oyster! Anyways, I went spinning this morning and the cold air + the sweat seems to have not agreed with me.

Trip to knysna was totall amazing... i'll bump the other thread now. I'm quite chuffed - I came 15th out of all the unlicensed riders. I pulled off a HUUUUGE attack on the hill out of knysna and they took an awesome photo of me coming up the hill with the rest of unlicensed riders a few hundred meters behind.

We got a couple of them and I use it with some of the training plans. Very simple thing for example: For  a recovery test I have my riders do a rolling 1hr course at 65% heartrate. They then redo this course with the course fixture of the Edge and race against their previous best, staying at 65% HR. Whenever the loose against their old self, it means they not recovered and not ready for a new hard exercise. they can quickly see the old ride arrow either fall behind or move ahead of their current form.

We also plotted a nearly exact replica of the SA's circuit in Bloem where we trained and got 1st, 2nd, 4rth and 6th in the U23 category.
