What is happening to the Hub?

191296 not everyone has a racing number since not everyone races. A lot of the people on this forum are complete newcomers to cycling, hence they would never be able to join

I do understand this but there must be some type of way to protect the Hub members.

 

When you ask for a loan from the bank,they frist check you out.

Why cant the Hub do that ?

 

I have also been done in when i bought a tean flx merida from a guy and found out the next day the frame was damaged,after trying to get hold of him again all this contact details had changed ,cell,id,address,and before you say it was my fault,cycle lab gave me the full bill of health on this bike.

 

So its really up to the hub forum.

I know what you getting at and in principle its not bad, but in reality that will never work unfortuanitly. I have been in IT for 15 years, ran many forums myself in the past. The only thing that the admin can do, is take respectable senior members on the hub and turn them into moderators. And with enough moderators you should be able to kill most of the posts before they attract too much unwanted attention, besides that there is nothing you can do. Sad but true.
