Ti for chainring and cassettes are bad ideas. They do not last long at all.

Yeh I think I would rather go for just the carbon without the Ti, I heard they last longer, and would lighter?

carbon teeth won't last long either.....

 

Jokes aside, reletively speaking:

 

Steel - good longevity, but heavy

Titanium - reasonable longevity and +-25% lighter than steel and stupidly expensive.

Aluminium - poor longevity and even lighter

 

stick to steel for the small ring the weight penalty is minimal. for middle/large ring maybe look at Ti for middle and ali for large
