greatwhite Posted June 15, 2010 Share See if these ...... wake up !! boone titanium stops to receive orders 3or 4 years ago please .... CARBON TI is the brand !!!!!!!! not only the material of chainrings surf the web before posting .... http://www.carbon-ti.com/ @ Eliflap: You join the hub a week ago clearly trolling for business, make 22 post and in at least 2 posts you insult people (9% hit rate - not bad), including a potential customer (I assume you were insulting Koukie, since I clearly said "jokes aside" after my comment about carbon teeth"). You seem to be punting a nice product, but as far as your sales skills go, you clearly need to catch a .......... "wake up!!"
koukie Posted June 15, 2010 Share My comment about carbon rings was indeed a joke, do you even get carbon rings? I was just saying it to see what eliflap would say on that...

greatwhite Posted June 15, 2010 Share you notice no chain on there - show bike. Like you say, wouldn't last long That said the XTR M970 is a neat solution - Ti teeth with carbon composite reinforcement (looks like a carbon reinforced plastic). Those are more durable than the previous gen ali M960 middle rings. Or even the M770 middle that is steel and carbon comp - few grams more, but 1/3 the pricegreatwhite2010-06-15 08:06:

ridr Posted June 15, 2010 Share Those THM Clavicula's look good. Can get a mtb double to weigh less than the Lightning. Mean price! About 1000Euro. I wonder how the two compare?
eliflap Posted June 15, 2010 Share Those THM Clavicula's look good. Can get a mtb double to weigh less than the Lightning. Mean price! About 1000Euro. I wonder how the two compare? i had a Clavicula double 1000 euro wasted ! 104 mm only , so you can run a 42 or 44 and only a 30T as small ring ( does NOT exist a 4 holed ring on 104mm BCD below 30T, and on 30T only Extralite from Italy produces that size ) and you must decide before buying which frame must be fitted by Clavicula ... available in 2 different sizes , 68 or 73 mm. instead, Lightning has more choice in one puchase : spider is reversible : one side is 3 x 9 , other side is 2x9 104-64 mm BCD so you can run 42 - 26 for example spindle has a spacer : so can fit both sizes of BB shells 68 and 73 adding or removing spacer. and it's BB30 too , so without its cups can fit BB30 shell too so : Lightning beats Clavicula 10-0 weight : very similar
Weight Weenie Posted June 15, 2010 Share Those THM Clavicula's look good. Can get a mtb double to weigh less than the Lightning. Mean price! About 1000Euro. I wonder how the two compare? Im sure Eliflap can tell you. But the central ghost team uses claviculas so they cant be too bad if they hold up to there power and level of riding. Theyve got some of the weight weeniest bikes Ive seen in the XCO circuit - cavicula cranks, kmc chains, tune speedneedle seats etc.
Weight Weenie Posted June 15, 2010 Share Ok i see they are infact crap haha
ridr Posted June 16, 2010 Share @eliflap: doesn't not having to use spacers on a 68mm bb frame give a narrower q-factor?You should be able to use an Extralite OctaRamp Gara 42/28 on the 104 Clavicula dp.
