Dicky DQ Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Marius, it is a long long river crossing. Last year I made it across, but only just. The time saved was spent lubing a very dry chain. You have no idea how clean this river can make your chain. Waling is Cool.

No, it was only 100k's into the ride and we wanted to avoid getting water into everything and struggling with chains etc. Later on I just rode through it all. Especially after it got dark. I just couldn't be bovvered at that stage...

TitusTi Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Must say, I felt a little cheated at how dry all the rivers were, last year we had about 45 river crossings, this year we only had about 10 and you only had to wade this one. Very disappointing!
