hi, i need some help in deciding to purchase a Scott Speedster S20. 105 10speed, shimano 550 wheels. do you think it's a good buy?

I like the S20 but I think the S20 is a 2006 model.

If it was me I would go for it if it was around 8K

tyger have a look on gumtree.co.za for a johannesburg based scott  think it was the s20, going for R6k

I have a 2006 S20 and it is really a decent bike for the money.  It is reliable and the wheels stay true and rolls nicely.

 

I agree with the other posters that maybe 9k is a bit too much.

 

try and get it down to 8k if it is brand spanking new still, otherwise if it is secondhand try for 6 or 7k depending on the condition etc.
