Company is carving out, demerging etc etc... I'm in HR with engineering back ground, and retrenched about 150 staff and then it came my way. Will finish end September, and being isolated from the info flow I've had time to get on the Hub. So after 19 years I will get a CV together and look for something else. Not complaining about the package, as they screwed up with the process and it's cost them. So enjoy your working conditions no matter what - and the hub - till you can get something better and move on.

Have also been through that after 9/11 and all the tech stocks crashed. Was a convenient excuse for my then company.All I can say is that while it sucked at the time, it was genuinely the best thing that could have happened! I was able to take advantage of opportunities that I would have had to let pass before....All the best!
