Decided to try and buld up my Spark to under 10kg's - and got a bit carried away. Made a few additional tweaks today and got it just sub 9kg's (foam grips, lighter stem)...

Component breakdown as requested:

Frame: Scott Spark

Rear Shock: Dt Swiss XR Carbon (changed origional because could not fit a bottle in on the small frame).

Front Shock: Fox F100RLC 2011

Wheels: ZTR MX Podium Rims on American Classic Hubs (Had a standard American Classic wheelset which Johan Bornman built up for me using the ZTRR Mx POdium rims and wheelsmith XL spokes. came in at 1220g

Groupset: Sram XX (all standard spec)

Tyres: Schwalbe Rocket Ron 2.1. Running tubeless with about 50ml Schwalbe blue sealant in each

Saddle: Selle Italia SLR Flow Carbon Rails (120g)

Seatpost: Ritchey WCS Carbom

Stem: KCNC Scandium (99g) as opposed to the Fly Ride stem on the bike in the pic (137g)

Bars: KCNC Scandium

Grips: Scott Foam (18g for the pair, as opposed to the 100g pair on the bike in the pic)

Bar Ends: KCNC

Skewers : KCNC
