Training Ride passing through Emmarentia/Greenside

Don't know if any Hubbers are part of this training group but there's a group that comes down Thomas Bowler and turns right into Oliphants Road going over the Emmarentia Dam wall at around 5 in the morning.

 

Any idea from where they start, what time and the sort of pace ?

I saw a group coming over the damn wall from the other side at about 6:40. You don't want to ride with them, they jumped the light.

Thug, check out www.cyclesafe.co.za and click the Illovo training group link. They ride over the dam wall on the wed and thursday rides, so it might be them. I think the Dunkeld Cycles group also do this route, but im not 100% sure.

The Engen2Engen group would come through that area at around 5:20 to 5:30.

If its the E2E classic guys I think I'll give it a skip, looking for something closer to home.
