What is a new 2010 GT Zaskar frame worth ?

Hey all

 

I'm getting a new GT Zaskar 2010 frame in around 2 months, as Omnico doesnt have stock now.

Im doing the 3 towers so will need to buy a new frame NOW so I can build and ride it before then.

When I get the GT frame I'd like to sell it to recoup costs of the other frame I need to buy.

 

I was thinking about R 10k as the last price I was quoted was around R14k I think ?

Would anyone be interested in one ?

Slightly, different resin so its about 300g lighter they say.

Cable routing is a bit different.

Still looks much the same, they kept the triple triangle design

Omnico are Cannondale distributors so tell them to give you a Cannondale Flash frame to make up for the hassles.:=)

i have a 2007 Zaskar frame (L).so is the 2011 frame lighter? do you know the actual weights of the the 2 frames?

2007 is still a metal frame, dont know what they weigh but the 2011 carbon is quoted at 1,1kg, probly in medium

Problem is I'm not gonna get jack for a used frame, a new one I may actually get an amount near its actual value

I got the 2010 team frame after +- 8 months of waiting...dont believe Omnico when they say it'll be there in 2 months...i heard that 100 times..

 

But to your question i was quoted at R12500. paid around 10k if i remember correctly

Zaskar its a warranty replacement so no I cant.

But things didnt work out so I dont have the funds now for a new bike.

 

Thus Ill be using the cracked one at tommorrows race and at the 3 towers because Omnico says it will not crack - well let me tell you I think it will and if it does they will personally drive to the race and bring me a new frame or bike

 

Ill try and get them to lend me a bike/frame in the meantime

Or I'll see what the insurance can do
