Rumour has it that the position of the COO is under review.  Seems president upset with our emmer.  Not sure - but seems some officials is unhappy that Carinus is taking the lead in things and want to take cycling in SA somewhere and feels that he might have critiziced what they (not) do in cycling.

Latrinus- What going on?

And to put the cherry on top - I believe that Carinus is to load the webbased licensing system during the next month - how can he if not working there?  Somebody again not thinking.

if its true, I only hope Andrew and Supercycling get these clowns into the studio, open a telephone line to enable us, the cyclist to asked them questions directly,... not pre set questions faxed to them to prepare answers,

I am pretty worried - Carinus is the only guy at the federations office (board) currently who supports the idea of a national program for junior and under 23 - not just a "flap it together' team before events.  And if he is gone - we will not have somebody pushing things - in fact - then I give up.

Sorry to say - but up to now our president has not done much for cycling this past 18 months - in fact I have actually seen more reports etc signed out by the vice than him - that I do wonder where we heading.

If we want to make things happen it is time for the younger generation - I am not talking 50 years old even - I am talking real young blood.  And sommer from the office, the board, team managers etc.  I was very dissappointed to hear one of our paid people  in Cape Town say " I just work here".  That is so directly saying that not interested in cycling at all?? Or am I wrong.

Another thought crossed my mind.  Not all likes him - but he gets the money, he is involved in cycling and cares for the riders - of all colour - it is 6 months till the next elections - but for SA cycling to show the government and the Olympic committee that we are prepared to commit to the sport and the guidelines they set in place - how about Eugene Ruiters for president of SA cycling??

The Rasta is disliked because he'll never shutup. If certain people at the CSA is trying to get rid of him it's because he's telling them to do their bloody work or f*** off.
