Specialized Concept Store

Stopped by there at 6pm on my way to pnp. Sign on the door say "temporarily trading at Waterfall shopping center".

There IS a problem. They will eventually officially trade from the store over the road from the temporary "Wimpy" store. Their official store is problematic as there is no council approval at present. Their intention is to use the Wimpy as a temporary base until the official store receives said approval. They will carry limited stock at the "Wimpy" store and fetch & carry stock as required from the official store. They are not officially open but we managed to acquire some stuff - but had to depart from the "tradesmans" entrance out back. Just try knocking on the door of the official store in the meantime. There are bods inside

Was looking for a Spesh t-shirt. The JHB branch does not have any. Will swing past there on Monday to buy a cap.

Popped into the shop this morning. Although they not officially open, you can just knock on the door and visit a bit. They are also busy moving stock across the road so may be a little busy. The shop looks really good though and everyone's pretty friendly. Really hope this works out for them. Must mention that in the short look I had, didn't really see any other brands than specialized.

Does anybody have the address for the store? I'm in Durban round about that time and would like to swing past the store.

Ricky Bobby

They opened on Friday the 17th at the Link Hills Shopping centre. On Monday the 20th they had to move across the road to the Waterfall Centre where they are presently trading from the old Wimpy.

They will only be there [they hope]from now until January 2011.

The Reason: The WANKERS from the OUTER WEST METRO COUNCIL, and the DURBAN METRO are still dicking around with the business licence for a centre that has now been trading for about 2 years.

Regardless. Nice stock and range [of Specialised] and a few other brands - 80 / 20 %

Wish them well. At least there is a worthy name behind the brand.

[liked your comment about recycling chick[en]s - keep up the S Kicking !

It had nothing to do with council at all. The building went up without the necessary paperwork in order and now the owner/s bitching about it. There's a lot more to it than council dicking around with it.
