Which group was on Hill St, Greenside at 6am?

This morning I did hill repeats on Hill St. On the way down after one repeat, I had to ride in the gutter as a group of riders coming up were spread over both lanes.

They had a following vehicle so I assume they are part of a bikeshop ride. It was not a Cyclelab vehicle as it was a small, gray bakkie.

Why not chat to them there and then? Why come and post the rant here?

Carry pepper spray and zap them. Oh and make sure you can then outsprint the biggest guy!!!

Grey/black bakkie... any yellow in the kit/bakkie... then Peaceforce?

@ Nathrix - no, road bikes but a few of them were on mountain bikes. Maybe they are not used to roadies acknowledging their presense so they were stunned into silence

If the car was a bakkie it was the Dunkeld Cycles bunch...

Also they're quite a mixed bunch with no distintive kit. Mostly road bikes with some mountain bikes. A lot of social riders so they're quite likely to be all over the road.
