Anybody any info regarding the cyclist that was killed on the Bottelary road? Apparently two guys were hit by a motor vehicle  late afternoon on Monday?

An article in the Burger yesterday reports that a cyclist was killed when a bakkie (travelling at high speed and over taking a truck)hit him and his friend on a bicycle. The accident happend in Old Paarl Rd, Kraaifontein. The friend has been admitted to hospital in a serious condition.

This is sad, very sad. Condolences to the family.

With all these accidents on the roads I have put my new Road bike purchase project on hold, I think the money will be better spent on MTB.

NOT GOOD NEWS!!

My condolences to Family & Friends!!!

RIP Fellow cyclist!!

I once appeal to all cyclists to take care out there when training. Be Safe and make yourself as visible as possible. Wear a Hi Visibility vest and switch on your rear light even during the day. We always maintain it will not happen to us. Please, please I beg you, do not worry what people will say or think of the way you look with the Hi-Vis vest. Rather think of your family & friends!!!

Be Safe & God Bless !!!!!

I have so many okes that just started or in the process of starting cycling and there's never an easy answer when they ask me about all these incidents. They are scared, I can?t blame them. I?m scared too.

Best of luck to those families!
