What do you use to lubricate the balance of the working parts on your bike? I know there has been a lot of debate on chain lubricants, but do you use the same ones on your pedals, derailers etc so that your bike doesn’t look like this?

 

It may not be a favourite but Q20 has helped me keep the bike in top shape.

I use WD40. Got a new chain lube for wet conditions. I used a oil based lube and used that on all the other stuff as well as on the chain.

I don't lube other bits on the bike because once you do, you need to keep doing it. Only on the MTB do I drop a bit of chain lube on the pedal's tension springs.

 

@Cois, WD40 is not lube. It's a water displacement fluid.

So is Parrafin, oh sorry I forgot they both nearly the same thing :P

 

........ One is just in a spray can!
