160mm and Formula brakes is all you need.

With formula stopping power any more will turf you over the bars. Tjose in pic are iwave rotors and formula oro puro's. have since had Formula RX (fantastic) and now run Formula R1's (light as a mofo but not as powerful as RX)

Crank Bro Cobalts from www.bicicletta.co.za I bought my champagne Cobalts there and collected from Shamus, R7600 please to deal with bicicletta. I weigh 105kgs and the Cobalts have never flinched, and I dont have much finesse when bombing through rock gardens servicing and oiling the hub takes 5 mins, and no special tools needed, if you have a chain whip and lock ring spanner you set. They look the ****, their hubs sound great and they are hands down the prettiest wheels out. From Bicicletta local warrenty and spares.

I was looking for new wheels for over 10 months... there are just so many options out there!

I was set on American Classics but then Ha Ha Kieran offered me the Gippiemme Kenya XC wheels at a lower price so I took those.

The American Classics are getting rave reviews all over the world.

I am VERY VERY happy with my XC Kenyas, had a few jumps and drop offs already and they are hundreds. Will be doing my review in Jan 2011.

Avoid Easton, 2 people that I know have had issues that the supplier dragged its feet in resolving.
